
The El Camino property is an iron-oxide-copper-gold prospect located 380 kilometres northwest of the City of Salta, Salta Province, northwestern Argentina. Access is via paved highway and all-weather road from the City of Salta via San Antonio de Los Cobres and Tolar Grande.
Hematite ± fluorite ± quartz and copper oxides occur in a series of breccias and veins in Tertiary aged volcanics of intermediate composition. Surface and drill core sampling thus far has indicated that mineralized rocks are anomalous in zinc, lead, silver, copper and gold. Alteration related to the main zones of mineralization is mainly intense K-feldspar. A total of eight separate mineral occurrences within a 3 kilometre by 700 metre area.
